A plan called "Great Game" by coaches provides local fighters for victory in the cage. Bellingham Mixed Martial Arts Fighters Usmma big win in the fight against the Nig WCF

With three local fighters winning their battles in the first round, their trainers USMMA based in Bellingham truly had something to be proud of. Mike Campbell, Devin Wessinger and Kevin Corrigan each won their weight class recently at the World Championship fight (WCF) combating night of competition at the Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, MA.
Corrigan, fighting at 155 pounds and standing "5'11, began the night in their struggle against USMMA the first professional Rubén González. The bell rang and both fighters came out strong. After touring briefly, Corrigan closed the distance with punches draw González lead kick. Corrigan took the shot and came close to his opponent's hip, lifting and closing Gonzales. The crowd responded with a roar, Gonzalez was a guillotine, but mounted Corrigan. From there, it took only 48 seconds for Corrigan to win by a KO in the first round.
Corrigan, 35, of Bellingham, now lives in Franklin, Massachusetts. He graduated from Bellingham High School in 1991 and played baseball, not hockey. He attended the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and Framingham State College. When asked about his first win, his first thought was, "Wow!" He said. "It was better than me has passed. It was a sentiment that is completely different for me because I'm so used to team sports. It's something I've done for myself, "he said.
"Never I worked so hard for anything in my life and the reward was worth it for me to finish, "said Corrigan." Matt Phinney USMMA to develop a game plan for me and it worked perfectly … Absolutely perfect! It was almost easy to win because I was ready. I practiced hard and was ready for every move, "he added. Corrigan said trained hard for 10 to 12 weeks to prepare for battle. "USMMA is the best gym around. Tom Hafer, Matt Phinney and Jorge Rivera, the preparation of the fighters better than anyone. All fighters know they are trained better than anyone every time we step into the ring. I really care and made them all a second family to me, "said Corrigan." We have a team spirit at USMMA. Wessinger, fighting at 155 pounds, and again to fight after a year off, was next on the card for USMMA in a fight against Jose Lopez. The bell rang and the two circles. Wessinger, a native of Whitinsville, Massachusetts, graduated from Blackstone Valley Regional Technical High School in 2003. Once there, the balanced athlete played football, lacrosse, basketball and baseball and hockey. After graduating, Wessinger began working as engineer and sports competition will be lost. "I really missed playing sports after high school and developing USMMA gave me a great start, "Wessinger said." Coaches do not Tom and Matt Phinney Hafer, are the best in New England. Wessinger trains about 12 hours a week at USMMA. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu incorporates Mai Tai and sparring. His next fight is scheduled for 13 September 2008 at the Shriners Auditorium in Wilmington, MA.
The most anticipated fight of the night proved worthwhile with the Game and headliner Campbell vs. Rich Moskowitz professional and the crowd was ready. The bell rang and the fighters began to spin. Moskowitz tried to close distance of kicks and punches, but with Campbell Campbell has proved very difficult to achieve. Use a superior program and travel, Campbell established his proposals. Campbell, 25, of Franklin, MA, fights in the weight welterweight division at 5'9 ", 170 lbs. He graduated from Coventry High School in Rhode Island. In high school, his dream was to play football university. It was the dream he shared with his father. After his father died of a heroin overdose in 2001, Campbell put aside his football plans, since it has been a passion they have always shared together. "My father and I loved football and share a passion for the game and for me to play. When he died, I do not want to play anymore. "
Not being a stranger to competition, and lack of sports, Campbell was inspired to try weightlifting. Represented the United States as a lever of power in the world power lifting
Championship when he was 22. From there, Campbell found Mixed Martial Arts Training at USMMA. As a professional MMA fighter, who has built a solid career for himself with a 5-0 record that includes 3 KO. Has a local title belt to the welterweight division 170 pounds.
